Mojave Narrows hosting harvest festival and haunted hayride Saturday

VICTORVILLE – A haunted hayride, petting zoo and trick or treating are awaiting at the Mojave Narrows Regional Park harvest festival, October 5, celebrating the beginning of fall.

Regional Parks is excited to bring this event to the high-desert communities and intends to host this as an annual event every year,” said the San Bernardino county regional parks website.

Families can enjoy a day of events that include a pumpkin patch, trick-or-treating, costume contests for all ages as well as family games, cupcake eating contest, event booths, live music, and food.

Haunted Hayride

The haunted hayride  – a Halloween attraction that combines a hayride with special effects and actors to create a spooky experience, will be held rain or shine.

Hayrides run from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Tickets are available for pre-sale only. Space is limited to the first 250 people. Time slots are every 15 minutes.

Hayrides are $5 per person.

Traveling zoo

Wildlife Adventure Time – a traveling zoo with animal ambassadors, will also be providing educational entertainment on Saturday.

Families can learn about a variety of rescued animals, what makes each animal special, and how they survive in their environment. 

While having fun, they also offer special interactions with specific animals whether it be holding, touching or even hand feeding. Their 50-lb. porcupine is known for hopping in laps. 

The Harvest Festival and Haunted Hayride is October 5, 2024 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. Mojave Narrows Regional Park is located at 18000 Yates Road in Victorville. The admission price to the festival is $10 a car.
