VICTORVILLE – Victorville Sings is holding its 4th annual singing competition auditions, May 15, giving youth ages 7-17 a chance to sing at the summer Concerts in the Park Series and win other prizes.

Last year, summer concertgoers voted Leahna Ortega Flores the Victorville Sings champion.

“We had the best time watching each contestant perform and showcase their great talents throughout our Concert in the Park Series,” said the city.

Last year was a success

The city says building on the success of last year’s event, Victorville’s Concerts in the Park Series will feature bands from a variety of genres along with performances by the top 15 Victorville Sings contestants.

During the concerts, audience members will TXT2VOTE for their favorite Victorville Sings contestants. Finalists will be selected from each of the concerts on June 21, June 28, and July 12; and the 2024 Victorville Sings Champion will be crowned at the final concert, July 19.

Auditions

Victorville invites youth to register for auditions that will be held on May 15 at the Cultural Arts Center of the High Desert located at 15615 8th Street. The city says the contest is limited to solo vocal entertainers.

Contestants can register online here or in-person at Hook Community Center located at 14973 Joshua St. between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday.  The registration fee is $5 before May 10.  After May 10, the registration fee increases to $15.
