Eat Yo Hart Out: Youth Sports Conbine a Success!

Published on

ADELANTO — The line of student athletes waiting to enter the field, Saturday, started at the bottom of the Adelanto Stadium seating and went into the top walkway area. Eat Yo Hart Out’s first annual Youth Sports combine brought together the community for a morning of physical training, encouragement and motivation.

“We typically don’t have events like this for our community,” said Eat Yo Hart Out owner TJ Hart. “We wanted to bring an IE trainer and a LA trainer, which was the UCLA coach, and bring them down here and give back to our community.”

The sports and speed development company registered 200 participants for the event including many local youth teams. The day started off with various warm up drills that progressed into more intensive sprinting drills. Parents sat in the stadium seating and watched as Hart and other coaches provided instruction on the field.

Hart has trained clients for seven years. His Eat Yo Hart Out sports performance company helps athletes maintain high levels of performance and recovery. He has worked with Robert Griffin III, Nelson Agholor, and both Los Angeles Rams and Chargers players.

Hart says he is proud of the community for supporting the event.

Vitelli’s Deli provided sandwiches that the student athletes enjoyed after the event was over. Under Armour supplied bags and gift certificates for the kids. UCLA Coach KB also provided hats.

“I thank everyone for coming out and I thank the HD for their support,” said Hart.
