HESPERIA – UC Agriculture and Natural Resources (UCANR) is holding a free workshop, May 7, at the Hesperia Library. The day-long workshop will cover topics including growing a summer veggie garden, food preservation and pests in the garden.
The UCANR program is administered through the University of California college system. It’s Master Gardener program recruits volunteers from each county to educate the public on gardening as well as participate in community gardens.
