Route 66 Road Ahead Partnership endorses bill to designate iconic route National Historic Trail

VICTORVILLE – The city will host an Old Town networking and partnership event April 9 aimed at connecting entrepreneurs, property owners and investors interested in developing businesses in the historic district.

The event will run from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Victorville City Hall and bring together business owners, brokers, lenders, developers and community partners.

City officials said the event will help participants learn about available Old Town properties, explore business incentives and city resources, and build partnerships that support new investment.

The event comes as Victorville continues efforts to revitalize Old Town through economic development and beautification projects.

Last month, Caltrans awarded the city $300,000 through a statewide community cleanup and employment program to support improvements in the district.

The funding is part of a $25 million statewide initiative focused on litter removal, beautification and job creation in underserved communities.

RSVP for networking event

Entrepreneurs, property owners and investors interested in attending can RSVP through the city’s economic development office.
