Adelanto hosting Movies in the Park on Friday – free bike helmets available

CALIFORNIA – The City of Adelanto invites families to Movies in the Park on Friday, September 12, for a night of community fun, learning, and blockbuster entertainment under the stars.

The evening begins at 4 p.m. with a pop-up safety demonstration supported by the Southern California Association of Governments’ (SCAG) Go Human campaign.

Residents can explore: 

  • Interactive safety features
  • Community info booths
  • A traffic-calming course

Free bike helmets will also be available for Adelanto residents while supplies last (first come, first served).

At 7:30 p.m., the feature film, Jurassic World Rebirth, will be shown.

Go Human campaign aims to reduce traffic collisions

SCAG’s Go Human campaign promotes safer streets by encouraging walking, biking, and traffic safety awareness.

The program partners with local communities across Southern California to reduce collisions and create more accessible public spaces.

Movies in the Park will be held at John Mgrdichian Park, 11251 Seneca Rd., Adelanto, beginning at 4 p.m.
