APPLE VALLEY – The HD Post in partnership with the Apple Valley Airshow, taking place October 8, is giving away a pack of four tickets. Locals can enter to win via the Instagram app.
The 19th Annual Apple Valley Airshow attracts spectators from all over Southern California. This year’s highlights include TA-4 Skyhawk military jet along, other military fly-bys, Top Gun: Maverick flight instructor Chuck Coleman performing extreme aerobatics and the Dawn Patrol RV Formation Team.
On the ground, attendees can view experimental and vintage airplane static displays, military vehicles, and a classic car contest hosted by NAPA® Auto Parts.
At the STEM Expo, tent people of all ages can learn to fly a plane, build an airplane, or a rocket. General Atomics’ booth will display what they do in the High Desert. In addition, aerobatics performer Vicky Benzing’s sponsor, California Aeronautical University, is providing a flight simulator where attendees can try their flying skills for free.
To enter the giveaway, contestants need to log into their Instagram account and tag a friend in the comments section of the HD Post giveaway announcement. A pack of four tickets will be given to a randomly chosen winner. Unlimited entries are allowed.

Gates are open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aerial demonstrations are from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Admission is only $10 cash, military active-duty with ID only $7 cash, children 11 and under free. Parking is free. Apple Valley Airport is located off Highway 18. Take Highway 18 to 21600 Corwin Rd. in Apple Valley.
