YERMO – Enjoy two full days of live music, old time games and clogging at Calico Ghost Town’s annual Bluegrass Festival this Mother’s Day weekend. One of many events held annually at Calico, the Bluegrass Festival reflects the attraction’s historic themes and Western influence.
Calico Ghost Town is recognized as the official California silver rush ghost town.
In the spirit of the old West, musical performances include bluegrass artists The Billhillyz, Lilies of the West, Blue Henry Express and Virtual Strangers. Pig races, Western themed games and a gunfighting show provide entertainment for the kids. There will also be blacksmithing demonstrations throughout the day.
Entrance to the festival is $15 for adults, $10 for kids ages 4-11, and kids 3 and under are free.
