Victorville Launching Striping Operation for Green Tree Boulevard

Published on

VICTORVILLE – The City of Victorville announced October 24 that it is launching a striping operation on Green Tree Boulevard aimed at increasing traffic flow between Hesperia Road and Ridgecrest Road.

Between Oct. 27 and Nov. 7, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, a contractor will be on-site intermittently to remove existing road pavement markings and stripe new lane configurations.

Expect delays

The new striping will extend the second eastbound lane across the Brian Gengler Memorial Bridge and move the westbound merge from the intersection at Ridgecrest Road over the bridge, extending the length of two-lane traffic for westerly traffic.

A new left-turn pocket will also be added at the intersection of Coad Road and westbound Green Tree Boulevard.

During work hours, lanes will be shifted to accommodate the striping operation.

Delays are expected and alternate routes are advised. Warning signs and temporary traffic control devices will be displayed and removed each day throughout the project.

Motorists are advised to slow down and proceed with caution when traveling in the vicinity of this road improvement project.

Questions can be directed to (760) 243-6318.
