SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY — Between September 8 and September 14, local and federal law enforcement agencies joined forces under Operation Consequences, a targeted crime-suppression effort, resulting in multiple arrests, weapons seizures, and drug busts across San Bernardino County.

Locations Hit

Law enforcement activity occurred at multiple locations:

  • 600 block of Medical Center Drive, San Bernardino
  • 14000 block of Mt. Vernon Avenue, San Bernardino
  • 16000 block of Petrus Lane, Fontana
  • 100 block of Euclid Avenue, Ontario
  • 14000 block of Seneca Road, Victorville
  • 9900 block of Maple Avenue, Hesperia
  • 9000 block of Topaz Avenue, Hesperia
  • 9000 block of Miller Ranch Road, Lucerne Valley

During the weeklong operation, which included a focused sweep in Adelanto and surrounding High Desert communities on September 12, 2025, investigators served nine search warrants.

The effort led to 55 felony arrests and 69 misdemeanor arrests. The officers contacted gang members and individuals prohibited from possessing firearms.

Authorities seized more than 1,200 pounds of processed marijuana, 360 marijuana plants, suspected heroin, methamphetamine, and fentanyl, along with 31 firearms — including four ghost guns.

The operation, coordinated by the Sheriff’s Gangs & Narcotics Division with multiple partners—including San Bernardino Police, CHP, the DEA, Homeland Security Investigations, Fontana, Ontario, Barstow, Upland, and Victorville police, focused on gang activity, probation/parole compliance, and illegal weapons and drug trafficking.

What’s Driving This

Operation Consequences is part of a broader strategy to clamp down on violent crime, gang activity, and the illegal trade of weapons and drugs. The advisory mentions that new sentencing and legal tools from Proposition 36 are being applied to two of the arrests.

The County Board of Supervisors has also increased funding for countywide crime suppression, allowing for increased law enforcement services related to quality-of-life issues affecting communities.

Ongoing Enforcement

Increased patrols and parole or probation checks are expected to continue, and may be concentrated in cities such as Adelanto, Victorville, Hesperia, Fontana, Ontario, and San Bernardino, where additional special operations may also occur.
