Apple Valley deputies arrest two Nevada residents in $2,356 Ulta Beauty theft

APPLE VALLEY – The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department announced that Apple Valley deputies responded, August 31, to Ulta Beauty and investigated a $668 theft.

The suspects were not present at the scene when deputies arrived. However, the vehicle used by the suspects was identified. 

On September 3, deputies responded to another theft at the same store involving suspects Jayro Rojas Gonzalez, 24, and Ariel Fernandez Milian, 38, both of Nevada. Deputies determined Rojas Gonzalez stole $1,434 in cologne and fled with Fernandez Milian before their arrival.

Later that day, Rojas Gonzalez and Fernandez Milian stole about $254 of merchandise from the Hesperia Ulta Beauty. Deputies found the suspect vehicle and stopped it in Hesperia. 

Both being held in lieu of $30,000 bail

Fernandez Milian and Rojas Gonzalez were detained without incident and booked at High Desert Detention Center. Fernandez Milian faces charges of conspiracy, organized retail theft, and grand theft.

Rojas Gonzalez was booked for conspiracy and grand theft. Both are being held in lieu of $30,000 bail. 

The stolen merchandise was returned to Ulta Beauty.
