Investigators have served several search warrants at the Haro home and utilized K9 units to aid in the investigation. In addition, a large amount of surveillance video has been obtained from areas of interest, which are being reviewed.

Investigators cannot rule out foul play

Sheriff’s investigators previously stated they could not rule out foul play in the disappearance of Emmanuel Haro.

On Thursday, August 14, 2025, at 7:47 p.m., deputies in Yucaipa were dispatched to a retail business after Rebecca Haro reported that while standing outside her vehicle, changing her child’s diaper, she was physically assaulted by an unknown male, rendering her unconscious.

When she awoke, her son was gone.

Deputies and K9 units from San Bernardino and Riverside Counties responded and began an extensive search. Emmanuel was not located.

Based on the circumstances, Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division responded and assisted with the investigation.

Inconsistencies in statements

Investigators interviewed multiple individuals, including Emmanuel’s parents, Jake and Rebecca Haro. During those interviews, Rebecca was confronted with inconsistencies in her initial statement and chose not to continue cooperating.

Investigators say at this point in the investigation, they are unable to rule out foul play in Emmanuel’s disappearance.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to contact the Specialized Investigations Division at 909-890-4904. Callers wishing to remain anonymous should contact We-Tip at 1-800-78-CRIME (27463) or visit wetip.com.
