NATIONWIDE – Twitter is auctioning off commercial kitchen equipment, office furniture and over 1,000 other items with starting bids as low as $25. The online auction begins at 7 a.m. on Jan. 17 and ends 10 a.m. the next day.

The company is selling items from their corporate headquarters in San Francisco on Global Heritage Partners auction website.

There are over 75 kitchen equipment products up for bid.

The auction includes three La Marzocco Espresso Machines that retail for around $10,000, an Alto-Shaam Combitherm Electric Oven which retails for $21,000 and Traulsen Stainless Steel Freezer that retails for $23,000 all with $25 starting bids.

The company is also selling computer monitors, electronic whiteboards, ergonomic chairs and tables.

Registration is required to place a bid. The site charges an 18% premium and payment is due 48 hours after the close of sale. Although buyers are responsible for their own shipping, Heritage Global Partners will provide third party vendors that can assist with shipping.

Twitter did not provide details as to why the items are being auctioned, however, with new Twitter CEO Elon Musk’s recent $44 billion acquisition of the company, some speculate the sale is to pay off his purchase of the platform.

An Heritage Global Partners spokesperson told Fortune that the auction has “nothing to do” with that.

“They’ve sold for $44 billion, and we’re selling a couple of chairs and desks and computers. So if anyone genuinely thinks that the revenue from selling a couple computers and chairs will pay for the mountain there, then they’re a moron,” the spokesperson told Fortune.
