Adelanto seeking web and mobile app developer

ADELANTO – The city of Adelanto is seeking Request for Proposals (RFP), closing September 28, for a city website redesign and mobile app development. The RFP deadline has been extended three times since its announcement.

According to the RFP, the city has one primary website to provide communication for its residents and also direct information to those interested in visiting or doing business with the city.

The city is looking for a developer who can provide an intuitive, easy-to-use interface for content contributors to create web content, with a functional, appealing, service-based and responsive design that allows easy access from all devices, including smart phones and strong search capabilities.

Design requirements should incorporate the city’s branding elements with updated colors, typography and layouts. In addition, design should reflect use of images rather than text, with use of photography and graphics.

In addition, the city would like to implement a smartphone application with a public‐facing web portal and an internal‐facing administrative dashboard, to enable and increase centralized civic engagement by the public.

The city team will work with the developer to plan and organize information on the site.

Proposals must demonstrate the applicant’s qualifications for the project.

There is a $250 proposal processing fee.

RFP proposals must be submitted to:

City of Adelanto
City Clerk’s Office
11600 Air Expressway
Adelanto, CA 92301
