SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY — Two lottery tickets sold in San Bernardino County delivered major wins just days apart, including a $32 million SuperLotto Plus jackpot purchased in Upland.
A single SuperLotto Plus ticket matching all six numbers in the Feb. 28 drawing was sold at a Circle K store at 681 E. Foothill Blvd. in Upland. The winning numbers were 8, 11, 22, 37 and 46, with a Mega number of 24.
Over 100,000 other SuperLotto Plus tickets also won smaller prizes of $1 to $2,000.
The winner has 180 days from the draw date to claim the estimated $32 million jackpot, lottery officials said.
The jackpot resets to an estimated $7 million, with a cash value of about $3.2 million, for the Wednesday, March 4 drawing.
Ontario Liquor sells $1.1 million ticket
Just miles away in Ontario, Juan Hernandez Lara came close to hitting a Powerball jackpot.
He purchased a ticket at Ontario Liquor, located at 1403 E. 4th St., that matched five of six numbers in a recent drawing, missing only the Powerball. The ticket is worth $1,165,399, according to the California Lottery.
He joined four other winners who also had five-number matches and won the same prize amount.
Lottery officials say proceeds from ticket sales help fund public education programs statewide, including arts, career technical education, and after-school enrichment.
SuperLotto Plus draws take place Wednesdays and Saturdays at 7:57 p.m., after the draw entry closes at 7:45 p.m.
Powerball draws take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays at 7:59 p.m., and the entry must be made by 7 p.m.
