More small business grants up to $60,000 coming due

CALIFORNIA – Small business grants enable entrepreneurs to start or expand their ventures without taking on significant debt. 

With the support of small business grants, these entrepreneurs not only have the opportunity to flourish but also contribute substantially to the nation’s economy and workforce.

According to the Small Business Administration (SBA) 33.3 million small businesses exist across the country, employing more than 61.6 million people as of 2023.

Black- and Latino-owned businesses experienced the fastest growth, with business ownership increasing from 5% to 11% and from 7% to 10%, respectively, between 2019 and 2022.

The BOSS Network and Sage’s Invest in Progress Grant

The BOSS Network is partnering with Sage for a three-year program to tackle inequality, provide support and guidance during the pandemic and beyond, and help Black women achieve their goals with everything that’s needed to successfully start new businesses. 25 $10k grants available. Applicants must register for a free Hello Alice account to apply.

Black History Makers Grant

In celebration of Black History Month, Citi Trends is acknowledging Black entrepreneurs that are making history in their community today. Their goal is to help advance and further the businesses of Black entrepreneurs. $5,000 grants available.
Due Date: February 28, 2024

Barclays Small Business Big Wins Grants

For a chance to win a $60,000 grand prize, Barclays is looking for essays about how your business is adjusting to the current economy.  Winning stories will receive one of 60 cash prizes starting at $2,000.
Due Date: March 4, 2024
