Victorville hosting Doing Business with the City Workshop on June 14

VICTORVILLE – Victorville is inviting contractors and service providers interested in learning more about the procurement process to Doing Business with their City workshop on June 14.

During 2022, Victorville welcomed over 200 commercial businesses to the city. Victorville anticipates a new Sprouts Farmers Market, Carmax, Dollar General and Superior Grocers to open soon. 

Victorville’s goal with the workshop is to strengthen connections with the business community at the upcoming workshop.

Topics that will be covered during the event include:

  • Business licenses; 
  • Insurance;
  • How to get involved in specialized programs such as the HUD Senior home repair; 
  • Online procurement programs;
  • U.S. Small Business Administration and more.

In addition to the workshop, the city is also surveying the business community with questions about doing business with the city in the past. The survey asks where are solicitations searched for and what stops a business from doing business with the city. To complete the short survey click here
