Ebara Corporation Japan purchases Hayward Gordon including Adelanto facility

ADELANTO – EBARA Corporation Japan, an industrial machinery manufacturer, acquired 100% equity of Hayward Gordon L.P., with facilities in Adelanto and Ontario, Canada. The acquisition expands EBARA’s product portfolio, will develop Hayward Gordon’s manufacturing capabilities and further improve the “pool of resources of talented experts for the North American market.”

Hayward Gordon makes solids handling pumps for water and wastewater treatment. The integration combines Hayward Gordon’s brands in pump and mixer capabilities with EBARA’s technology, infrastructure, and global presence.

“Hayward Gordon and EBARA’s expanded range of complimentary products, global manufacturing facilities, worldwide sales network, and solid financial standing enables the acquisition to supply a unique and broad range of products and services that make a valuable difference in the marketplace,” said newly appointed President and CEO of Hayward Gordon Yusuke Nagatani.

EBARA Corporation, Headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, has more than 17,000 employees worldwide. The publicly traded company manufactures pumps, compressors, fans, gas turbines, chillers, and semiconductor equipment for the industrial, energy, infrastructure, and environmental sectors.

The company listed $4.4 billion in revenue for fiscal year 2014.
