San Bernardino County Sheriff says they will not tolerate lawlessness amid ongoing LA protests

SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY – The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department posted a message on its Facebook page, June 8, that they would not tolerate lawlessness in San Bernardino County amid the ongoing anti-ICE protests in Los Angeles.

“A private correctional facility contracted to the federal government, located in our county may be utilized to house ICE detainees,” said the message.

They go on to say that the department supports the right to peacefully protest however, they will not tolerate lawlessness and violence in this county.

“Anyone who violates the law, attacks law enforcement, or vandalizes property will be arrested, incarcerated and prosecuted,” they said.
