CALIFORNIA — Dozens of Saks Off 5th stores in California and nationwide are holding in-store closing sales as parent company Saks Global Enterprises LLC moves forward with Chapter 11 bankruptcy restructuring.
The retailer is also running an online liquidation sale, with discounts of up to 70% off.
Saks Global announced in late January that it will close most Saks Off 5th stores and all remaining Neiman Marcus Last Call locations after reviewing its business operations.
Only a dozen Off 5th stores nationwide will remain open to sell excess inventory from the company’s full‑price luxury brands, including Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman.
Closing sales now underway
In California, several Off 5th locations are listed among those holding closing sales that began around January 31:
- Palm Desert
- Costa Mesa
- West Los Angeles
- Woodland Hills
- Livermore
- Cabazon
In addition to Off 5th closures, several Neiman Marcus Last Call outlet stores in California are also running liquidation sales before shutting down entirely:
- Desert Hills Premium Outlets – Cabazon
- The Outlets at Orange – Orange
One remaining Off 5th store in California
Saks Global filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in January 2026, following a 2024 merger with Neiman Marcus that left it with roughly $2.7 billion in debt and severe liquidity constraints.
As most stores close, one Saks Off 5th location in California at The Outlets at Orange will remain open.
