State Parks’ Off-Highway Division awards $23M in grants, including projects in San Bernardino County

SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY – California State Parks’ Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation (OHMVR) Division announced September 29 more than $23 million in final awards for the 2025 Grants program.

Eighty-one local and federal agencies, districts, and nonprofit organizations – including those in San Bernardino County, received funding for off-highway vehicle (OHV) recreation projects.

The state says the grants support the Outdoors for All initiative by maintaining OHV trails, expanding access, promoting safety, protecting resources, and restoring habitats.

OHMVR Division Deputy Director Sarah Miggins said for more than 50 years, OHV grants have helped protect California’s public lands while supporting partners of every size.

“These investments will support future generations of OHV enthusiasts to become stewards of these cherished lands so they can continue to enjoy this treasured form of recreation,” she said.
