Authorities reported nine felony arrests during the weeklong effort.
Curbing crime throughout the High Desert
County officials said funding for Operation Consequences was authorized by the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors to expand law enforcement services that address quality-of-life issues countywide.
The initiative will continue in the coming months.
It focuses on suppressing violent crime, dismantling street gangs, and targeting those illegally possessing, manufacturing, or trafficking firearms.
Agencies involved include the Sheriff’s Specialized Enforcement Division, California Highway Patrol, San Bernardino Police Department, San Bernardino County Probation, and Homeland Security Investigations.
Sheriff’s officials said the ongoing operation is part of a broader strategy to “curb violent crime and protect communities throughout the High Desert and greater San Bernardino region.”
