Hesperia’s free summer concert series kicks off August 1

HESPERIA – The City of Hesperia is hosting its annual Bobcat’s Summer Concert Series with Manantial de Fuego kicking off the series on August 1.

The city invites the community to join it at Hesperia Civic Plaza Park for four Friday nights of free live music, local eats, and a beer garden perfect for summer evenings.

“Great bands, good vibes, and fun under the stars—you won’t want to miss this lineup,” said a statement on the city’s website.

This year’s lineup is:

August 1: Manantial de Fuego – Rock en Español that ignites the soul.

August 8: Woody and the Harrelsons – A melting pot of ‘70s, ‘80s, ‘90s, rock, pop, hip-hop, and funk.

August 15: Twenty Dollar Prophets – A SoCal urban rock reggae band.

August 22: Shotgun Jefferson –  A Southern California-based country band drawing musical inspiration from its deep, groove-centric, rock and roll roots.

Concerts take place Fridays in August from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Hesperia Civic Plaza Park is located at 15833 Smoke Tree St., in Hesperia.
