ADELANTO – The Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station will be out on Saturday, June 14, 2025,  from 4:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., looking for drivers suspected of driving under the influence (DUI,) throughout the city of Adelanto.

Sgt. S. Nobles said driving under the influence puts everyone at risk – yourself, your passengers, other drivers, and pedestrians.

“Every year, thousands of lives are lost due to alcohol-related crashes. One bad decision can lead to irreversible tragedy,” said Nobles.

Safety tips

Tips from Victor Valley Station:

  • Plan ahead: designate a sober driver or use a rideshare service.
  • If you see someone who is impaired trying to drive, take their keys and help them get home safely.
  • If you suspect a drunk driver is on the road, call 911 and report it immediately.

The Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station reminds all residents that driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is dangerous, illegal, and entirely preventable.
