HESPERIA – The Hesperia Police Department announced its “Party Car” operation, last month, resulted in 75 calls for service related to loud music.

The department initiated the operation to address quality-of-life issues created by loud music disturbances, firework disturbances, and illegal food vendors.

They also said they issued 38 Multiple Response Forms – a notice issued by law enforcement to document recurring disturbances, such as noise complaints.

Deputies investigated illegal food vendors

The “Party Car” operation deploys two patrol vehicles, each staffed with two deputy sheriffs, to handle disturbance-related calls for service. They also proactively investigate trespassing law violations by illegal food vendors.

Deputies contacted 29 illegal food vendors and issued five citations for city code violations.

In addition, deputies issued four citations for expired registration, one citation for driving without a license, and arrested one subject for a felony warrant.

The operation took place between Friday, May 16, and Saturday, May 31, 2025.

It will continue throughout the summer in an effort to address quality-of-life issues in the city of Hesperia.
