INLAND EMPIRE — Bid Fast and Last Premier Auctions, a Hesperia-based online auction platform, is opening bids March 20, for cars, jewelry, electronics and other items.

The auction platform is hosting the Riverside Public Administrator Auction for the public to purchase items at a potentially discounted price.

Administrator Auctions

The Riverside County Sheriff Public Administrator holds public auctions to liquidate estate property of deceased individuals.

When a person passes away without a will or without any known heirs, their assets, including real estate, personal property, and other belongings, may be subject to auction by the public administrator to settle outstanding debts, taxes, or other obligations.

In such auctions, items from the deceased person’s estate are sold to the highest bidder, and the proceeds are used to cover the deceased’s debts and administrative expenses. Any remaining funds may be distributed according to state laws or used for charitable purposes.

These auctions provide an opportunity for individuals to purchase items at potentially discounted prices while also helping to resolve the deceased person’s estate affairs.

Upcoming Auction

The March 20 auction features a 1969 Cadillac Coupe DeVille, a loader, gold jewelry, collectible coins, laptops and other items — 1,249 items in total.

According to the site, this auction is a no reserve auction — items will be sold to the highest bidder, regardless of the final bid price.

The buyer’s premium is 15%. This is the additional fee charged by the auction platform on top of the winning bid amount.
