Hesperia Summer Concert series kicks off August 5

HESPERIA – Hesperia’s Bobcat summer concert series kicks off, August 5th, with a host of local and headlining bands throughout the month. Live performances will be held at the Hesperia Civic Plaza Park, every Friday at 5 p.m. and are free to the public.

Performance line-up

Performs classic and alternative rock covers as a four-piece band and acoustic duo.

Live from Earth

7 p.m. Live from Earth

A Pat Benatar tribute band.

August 12

The Blue Henry's

5 p.m. The Blue Henry’s

The Blue Henrys were formed in 2003 by guitarist-vocalist, Henry Merenda. Known for putting their own spin on Chicago-style blues, they’ve been a fixture on the High Desert blues scene, performing at numerous festivals including the New Blues Festival in both Long Beach and Adelanto.

Mojave Yacht Club

5 p.m. Mojave Yacht Club

Southern California based cover band bringing fun and excitement to any event.

Femme Halen

7 p.m. Femme Halen

All Female Tribute to Van Halen.

Merletallica

5 p.m. Merletallica

Metallica tribute band.

Born on the Bayou

7 p.m. Born on the Bayou

Born on the Bayou Band is a “Party & Dance” band that plays a wide variety of music. Their goal is to keep everyone on the dance floor.
