CALIFORNIA – LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games announced January 27 that it will work with Korn Ferry to hire, onboard, and develop the nearly 5,000-person workforce needed to deliver the Games in 2028.

Korn Ferry, a worldwide consulting firm, will be the Official Talent and Organizational Consulting Partner for the LA28 Games and Team USA.

“Our partnership is all about building the culture and energy that will define the Games. Simply put, we’re powering the people who power the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games,” Korn Ferry CEO Gary D. Burnison said.

The firm noted that as it works with LA28 to hire 5,000 people, it will also cultivate leaders and high-performing teams that reflect the spirit of Los Angeles and the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Casey Wasserman, LA 28 chairperson and president, said their work with Korn Ferry started two years ago with the placement of Reynold Hoover as its CEO.

“Now, through our expanded partnership, we are building the team that will bring the LA28 Games to life and inspire the world,” Wasserman said.

Los Angeles’ third time hosting the Olympics

The LA28 Games will mark Los Angeles’ third time hosting the Olympic Games, previously hosted in 1984 and 1932, and first time to host the Paralympic Games.

Organizers say the LA28 Games are independently operated by a privately funded, nonprofit organization with revenue from corporate partners, licensing agreements, hospitality and ticketing programs and a significant contribution from the International Olympic Committee.
