
VICTORVILLE – Between August 25 and 31, 2025, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department conducted targeted crime suppression operations under Operation Consequences.
The operation took place across Apple Valley, Hesperia, Victorville, San Bernardino and Rancho Cucamonga, focusing on gang activity, illegal firearms, and narcotics.

- 17000 block of Bear Valley Road, Victorville
- 24000 block of Court Street, San Bernardino
- 7800 block of Milliken Avenue, Rancho Cucamonga
Investigators from the Sheriff’s Gangs/Narcotics Division, patrol deputies, and personnel from partner agencies served search warrants and contacted multiple suspects in these communities.
The SMASH Street Enforcement Team (SET) also conducted proactive patrols in Victorville and surrounding jurisdictions.
During the week-long operation, deputies seized four firearms, recovered suspected narcotics and made 11 felony arrests and one misdemeanor arrest. Two of the arrests involved charges under Proposition 36, the Homelessness, Drug Addiction, and Theft Reduction Act, which took effect December 18, 2024.
Proposition 36 provides enhanced penalties and prevents cite release prior to court appearances.

The operation is part of a county-wide crime suppression effort funded by the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors.
Its goal is to curb violent crime, disrupt criminal street gangs, and apprehend individuals illegally possessing, manufacturing or trafficking firearms.
Operation Consequences will continue over the coming months involving multiple divisions, the California Highway Patrol, San Bernardino Police Department, Probation, and Homeland Security Investigations.
