CALIFORNIA – As inflation continues to challenge the economy, small businesses are feeling the pressure from rising costs, making it harder to maintain profitability and growth.
According to U.S. Chamber of Commerce, 78% of small businesses say that the economy and inflation should be the first or second most important priority for the next Congress and presidential administration.
Small business grants can provide much-needed financial support without the burden of repayment, allowing businesses to invest in growth, upgrade technology, and maintain operations during tough economic conditions.

Hue Capital’s $1,000 Winning Women MicroGrant
Hue Capital believes in the power of women entrepreneurs to drive innovation, build communities, and create the products of tomorrow. They are excited to launch their $1,000 Winning Women MicroGrant, designed specifically to support women founders building product-centric businesses.
Eligibility requirements include a woman founder or co-founder of the business and the business must be product-centric, offering either a digital or physical product.

The Marshalls Good Stuff Accelerator
The Marshalls Good Stuff Accelerator Program is designed to help women live their ideal lives with expert guidance, coaching, and community.
Marshalls chose to provide a $5,000 grant for each of the 40 participants in the program based on their research that included a detailed analysis of the costs associated with the tools, resources, and community support needed for women to live their ideal lives.

Each year, the fellows program selects 50 women entrepreneurs for a yearlong program designed to grow their businesses through workshops, coaching sessions, network-building, and financial resources – a $5,000 business education grant. The program ends with a company presentation and in-person experience.
Eligibility requirements include women entrepreneurs who own the largest or equal stake in a qualifying business that is majority (51% or more) owned and controlled by women and proficiency in English.

BryteBridge Nonprofit Solutions empowers dreamers and doers to build organizations that positively impact communities. One way they support organizations is through their BryteBridge Cares microgrant program. In 2024, they will give away $20,000 in cash and service grants to effective nonprofits across the country.
Must be an active 501(c)(3) public charity based in the United States to apply for a BryteBrigde Cares microgrant.

Verizon says they are committed to uplifting small businesses. During Super Bowl LIX Week, three grantees will share the spotlight with other leaders at this special event highlighting the impact and importance of small businesses. Grantees will also receive a $25,000 grant from the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC).

The Sephora Beauty Grant
The second annual Sephora Beauty Grant program is awarding one Black business owner within the beauty industry a $100,000 grant to unlock the next level of growth and potential for their brand. Eligibility requirements include at least one self-identifying Black person with 50% or more equity in the company, the business sells a product and has annual revenue of at least $100K or more.

eBay says circular fashion is about addressing each phase of an item’s life cycle and thinking about the most sustainable way that items can continue being of use.
Businesses will have the chance to secure up to $50K in funding and advance to pitch their business model to eBay’s global leadership team. This is an opportunity to be awarded ‘eBay Circular Fashion Innovator of the Year’ and receive an additional investment of up to $300K.

The Aurora Tech Award is a worldwide prize for women founders of tech startups, created and supported by inDrive. First place prize is $30,000.

Etsy says they are committed to helping creative entrepreneurs recover when disasters disrupt their businesses.
Any Etsy seller who has experienced a federally declared disaster within the past year may apply for a grant, as long as they’ve been an active seller on Etsy for at least one year, and their accounts with Etsy are in good standing. Grants of $2,000 are available to sellers when they apply.

Walmart Spark Good Local Grant
Walmart believes that strengthening local communities creates value for business as well as society. Each year, Walmart U.S. stores, Sam’s Clubs and Distribution Centers award local cash grants ranging from $250 to $5000.
Spark Good Local Grants are awarded through an open application process to eligible organizations operating locally and directly benefiting the service area of the facility from when they are requesting funding.

National Association for the Self-Employed Grant
Since 2006, the NASE has awarded nearly $1,000,000 to members through the Growth Grants program by providing small business grants. Small businesses could receive up to $4,000. Grants can be used for marketing, advertising, hiring employees, expanding facilities and other specific business needs.
